Expected Start Date: September 14, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: In-Service Education Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: August 26, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job : Ensures all work is in alignment with the organization's missions, goals, values, and strategic plans to promote high quality, safe client care. This is accomplished by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unit orientation, in-servicing and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. Incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from the unit manager(s) of Nursing. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Min. 5 yrs exp. in a variety of nursing settings within acute & LTC
- Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
- Requires experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Instructor certification in applicable certification programs
- BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
