Part-Time Family Assistant / Nanny-Housekeeper — 3 Afternoons/Week

We are looking for a mature, reliable, organized, and proactive housekeeper/family assistant to support our household 3 afternoons/evenings per week, approximately from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is a part-time, live-out position in a private family home, with an immediate start preferred. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping a home clean, organized, and running smoothly, and who can also confidently help with light after-school support for our almost 6-year-old daughter. We are looking for someone who can work independently, notice what needs to be done, learn our routines quickly, and take initiative without needing constant direction. Main responsibilities include:

• Cleaning the inside of the home and immediate external areas
• Kitchen cleaning, including dishes, counters, floors, and cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, and pantry
• Laundry from start to finish: washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and household items
• Ironing as needed
• Bed making and linen changing
• Meal preparation and food prep (vegetarian only)
• Keeping household supplies stocked
• Organizing cupboards, drawers, closets, and household spaces
• Rotating seasonal clothing in closets
• Maintaining the pantry and clearing out expired or spoiled items
• General tidying and household organization
• Preparing snacks and helping with our daughter after school
• Supervising homework, reading, and play
• Helping with dinner and evening routines
• Keeping our daughter’s school items, clothing, and belongings organized

Our daughter comes home around 4:30 PM. I am often at home or nearby, but I need someone I can fully trust to care for her independently when needed and to comfortably manage household tasks on their own. The right person will be:

• Mature, dependable, and trustworthy
• Warm, patient, and emotionally steady
• Excellent at housekeeping and organization
• Good with children and genuinely comfortable around them
• A quick learner
• Proactive and able to prioritize tasks independently
• Respectful of privacy and comfortable working in a family home
• Interested in a longer-term position

Previous experience in housekeeping, family assistance, household management, or a similar role is strongly preferred. References are required. First Aid/CPR is an asset. Schedule:

• Monday evening
• Wednesday evening
• Friday evening

This position is less than 20 hours per week. A driver’s license is not required, and automobile use is not applicable.
