Senior Project Controls Manager

Drive project delivery through cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and earned value analysis for Stantec’s Energy & Resources business. This position is based in a North American office with regular in-office presence.Reporting to the Project Services Manager, the Project Controls Supervisor leads teams supporting renewables, power delivery, oil and gas, mining, and more. You will provide performance insights, standardize delivery practices, and align staffing with operational and project leadership needs. Success depends on organization, task management, communication, and sound decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and earned valueAnalyze variances and recommend corrective actions for project performancePrepare accurate reports, dashboards, and client deliverablesSupport managers with reliable cost and schedule informationAssist proposals with estimates, schedules, and resource plansRequirements:
Minimum 10+ years of project controls experienceTwo to three years of supervisory experienceExperience in engineering management, EPC, or EPCM environmentsKnowledge of diverse project delivery models and practicesAbility to manage deadlines, priorities, offices, and geographiesBring senior project controls experience, analytical performance reporting, and cost-schedule leadership to Stantec’s Energy & Resources projects.
