Telephone Technician to Telecommunications Advance Plus Tech Solutions Inc. Location Mount Pearl, NL Salary 33.20 Hourly / 35 to 48 hours per week Full time Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education College/CEGEP Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors At heights Underground Work setting Installation Maintenance Repair Service Responsibilities: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment Repair cable signals Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment Repair or replace defective telephone equipment Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience Cable outlets Area of specialization Telephone installation and repair Switch network installation and repair Telecommunication service testing Telecommunications equipment Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Driver's validity licence check Weight handling Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Between 12:00 p.m. and 03:00 p.m. Until: 2026-06-16
