Senior Penetration Testing Engineer

Join Finite State's Offensive Security team as a Senior Penetration Testing Engineer, working remotely from the U.S. Conduct critical security assessments for connected devices and systems. This position is pivotal for someone with 7+ years of experience in embedded, IoT, or automotive security. You'll focus on hands-on penetration tests, utilizing Finite State's firmware analysis tools to assess vulnerabilities effectively. Your core responsibilities include planning and executing tests, engaging autonomously with clients, and producing impactful reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute penetration tests on automotive and IoT systems
- Use advanced tools for vulnerability analysis and reporting
- Conduct hardware interactions and firmware extraction
- Assess wireless and network protocols relevant to assessments
- Produce high-quality reports detailing security findings
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years in hardware-level security assessments
- Proficiency in Ghidra and firmware reverse engineering
- Experience with automotive and industrial control protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
