Platform Engineer Aws Infrastructure

Build reliable AWS infrastructure at Rootly as a Platform Engineer, working across Terraform, observability, CI/CD, and security hardening.As a Platform Engineer on Infrastructure, you will share responsibility for Rootly’s cloud infrastructure and platform reliability. You will contribute across AWS, Terraform, Datadog, CI/CD, datastores, and security, while building depth across the platform. The work supports Rootly’s incident management platform used by NVIDIA, DoorDash, Uber, Canva, Tripadvisor, and Squarespace.Key Responsibilities:
Manage Rootly’s AWS infrastructure as codeBuild credential rotation for databases, Redis, and application secretsTune alerting around customer impact and observability spendParticipate in multi-region failover drillsWrite runbooks, documentation, and lasting platform fixesRequirements:
Three or more years building or running production systemsHands-on AWS and Terraform or OpenTofu experienceMonitoring and alerting experience with Datadog or similarProduction on-call and incident response experienceAbility to write code for infrastructure problemsBring AWS, Terraform, observability, and incident response experience to Rootly’s infrastructure platform and reliability work.
