CNC Programmer

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour

Our client, a well-established custom manufacturing company, is looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer / Machining Specialist to their growing team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex components, taking ownership of setups and programming, and contributing to a high-quality production environment.

This position is best suited for a hands-on machinist with strong milling experience who can confidently work independently from print to finished product.

Full-Time | Day Shift | Southwestern Ontario
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling equipment for custom and production machining projects
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Create and modify programs using CAM software
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality
• Conduct first-off inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime and scrap
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cycle times, tooling, and machining processes
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety procedures
• Assist with material handling and general shop responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CNC milling within a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to complete setups independently and work with tight tolerances
• Comfortable using measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving abilities
• Forklift or overhead crane experience considered an asset
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious
