Essential duties and responsibilities:

executing all menu items while meeting presentation and timing standards while assisting others in the kitchen

• able to work closely with other cooks and/or servers to meet the guests' needs
• able to attend work reliably
• able to follow instructions in prepping meats & food from scratch
• carry out all duties assigned by the Head Chef
• perform any and all other job-related tasks assigned by management

Skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications:

• minimum 2 years of comprehensive experience in a busy, full-service kitchen required
• food safe level 1
• maintain good sanitation and cleaning habits throughout each shift daily
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• ability to communicate effectively
• ability to safely, lift, pull, push or carry approximately 40 pounds
• superior organizational skills
• proven previous experience as an independent worker and team building player
• proven ability to multi-task and take direction well
• proven safe work and reliable attendance record required
• Mexican cooking experience is preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

• Harrison Hot Springs, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
