Principal Cloud Security Architect Remote

Take the lead in protecting critical cloud architectures as a Principal Cloud Security Architect. This fully remote role enables you to conduct comprehensive assessments, identify risks, and provide actionable security strategies. In this contract position, you will focus on evaluating large cloud environments, uncovering architectural weaknesses across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your expertise will allow you to identify misconfigurations and prioritize mitigation. If you have a deep understanding of cloud security architecture and thrive in flexible roles, this position is for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate cloud architectures for security gaps and weaknesses
- Review IAM configurations and permission models thoroughly
- Identify misconfigurations and privilege escalation risks
- Produce clear reports on architectural flaws with guidance
- Validate environments against security frameworks and best practices
- Deep experience in cloud security architecture
- Strong understanding of IAM design and network architecture
- Ability to document complex findings clearly
- Methodical and thorough approach to security assessments
- Familiarity with multi-cloud and zero-trust environments
