Junior Underwriter

Are you ready to jumpstart a career in finance? Join our team as a Junior Underwriter and be at the forefront of deal assessments and loan offerings! As a liaison between underwriters and stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in our loan approval processes!

Job Responsibilities:

• Deal Entry Point: Evaluate incoming deals, build soft offers based on available information, and collaborate with our senior underwriters to develop potential loan offerings
• Credit Policy Implementation: Price loan offers in accordance with our credit policy, ensuring compliance with company standards and risk thresholds
• Merchant Approval: Facilitate the approval process, serving as a point of contact for merchants and guiding them through the necessary steps
• Credit Committee Support: Assist in the final review of loan offerings, providing insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and analysis

Requirements

• 1-3 years in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented
