Full-Time/Part-time Infant Nanny & Family Assistant

We are a warm and welcoming family in Burlington looking for a compassionate, experienced, and dependable full-time nanny to care for our infant son. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies, believes in responsive caregiving, and is looking to become a trusted part of our family for the long term. Our parenting approach is gentle, respectful, and Montessori-inspired. We are looking for someone who will actively engage our son through age-appropriate play, conversation, music, books, outdoor walks, and developmental activities while following his cues and routines.

• # Primary Responsibilities
• ## Infant Care (Top Priority)

• Provide loving, attentive care for our infant throughout the day.
• Follow feeding, diapering, and nap routines.
• Support tummy time and age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Read books, sing songs, and engage in interactive play.
• Take baby for walks and outdoor time when appropriate.
• Maintain a calm, nurturing, and responsive environment.
• Wash and sterilize bottles and baby feeding items.
• Keep the nursery, play areas, and baby belongings organized.
• Wash and fold baby's laundry.

### Light Household Support (During Naps or Downtime) While our son is sleeping or independently content, we'd appreciate help with light household tasks such as:

• Preparing simple, healthy family meals.
• Meal prep (washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients).
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• Cleaning up the kitchen after meals.
• Folding family laundry.
• Light tidying and organizing of common areas.
• Light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
• *Our baby's care will always come first.** Household tasks are secondary and should only be completed when our son is safely resting or does not require attention.

## Our Ideal Candidate

• Has experience caring for infants under one year of age.
• Is warm, patient, kind, and genuinely enjoys interacting with babies.
• Understands responsive caregiving and respects a baby's individual needs.
• Has an interest in Montessori-inspired, child-led learning (an asset but not required).
• Is comfortable following the parents' routines and preferences.
• Holds current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (or is willing to obtain it).
• Has excellent references.
• Is reliable, organized, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Is legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Has a valid driver's license (an asset).

## Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
• Approximately 35–40 hours per week (flexible for the right candidate)
