As the Senior Producer, you will manage the Late Dayside team, ensuring compelling visual storytelling and adherence to journalistic standards. Your expertise will drive strategies for connecting with mobile and streaming audiences while overseeing the daily operations of news coverage. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative content strategies for news coverage
- Guide teams through live and breaking news production
- Oversee writing, researching, and editing of news content
- Support team development with feedback and coaching
- Facilitate collaboration across CBC News platforms
- Seven years in broadcast journalism or equivalent
- Proven experience in live news production
- Strong problem-solving and editorial judgment
- Knowledge across news sectors including politics and health
- Commitment to public broadcasting standards
