Second Class Engineer at Roquette Facility

Take on a key role at Roquette’s modern 1st-Class Steam/Refrigeration Facility in Portage la Prairie, MB, as a Second Class Power Engineer. Ensure the efficient operation of vital utility systems in this full-time, on-site position. This role requires a valid Class 2 Power Engineer License and between 5-7 years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance with safety standards, performing mechanical troubleshooting, and leveraging control room operations during emergencies. Your expertise will help sustain a safe operational environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate critical utility systems such as boilers and chillers
- Monitor system efficiency and make necessary adjustments
- Participate in daily safety procedures and risk assessments
- Control utilities equipment via Distributed Control System
- Collaborate with teams on performance improvements
- Must hold a valid Class 2 Power Engineer License
- 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing
- Strong capability in troubleshooting issues
- Experience with operational coordination in a control room
- Knowledge of ASME and CSA Codes
