Accounting Analyst for Scarborough Subway

Step into the role of Accounting Analyst with Scarborough Transit Connect, supporting the Scarborough Subway Extension project. Engage in crucial financial reporting and cost management for this transformative transit initiative. As an Accounting Analyst, you will assist with the preparation and maintenance of key financial reports, reconciliations, and schedules essential for project reporting. Leveraging your expertise, you will perform cost reconciliations across various systems, support cash flow analysis, and help ensure accurate billing and invoicing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost financial reports and reconciliations
- Perform cost reconciliations across systems
- Support cash flow reporting and forecasts
- Assist with monthly project invoicing preparation
- Validate financial data for accuracy and compliance
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2+ years in financial accounting or project finance
- Strong skills in cost management and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP or similar ERP systems
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
