AI Research Engineer - Scientific Discovery

Role Overview
Architect and design AI models specifically aimed at scientific discovery in materials science.
What You'll Do
- Research and implement cutting-edge AI architectures including diffusion models and LLMs for materials discovery
- Design models that can predict material properties and manufacturing viability
- Develop iterative exploration frameworks that combine AI predictions with experimental feedback
- Collaborate with domain experts to incorporate scientific constraints and validation into AI systems
What You Bring
- Background in deep learning research, particularly with generative models
- Interest in applying AI to scientific domains, preferably chemistry or materials science
- Understanding of multimodal learning approaches combining text, structural data, and experimental results
- Programming proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks
Nice to Have
- Publication record in AI/ML or computational chemistry
- Experience with molecular representation learning
- Background in reinforcement learning for scientific discovery
