Technical Automation Specialist at Howden

Howden seeks a Technical Automation Hardware Specialist to advance our control solutions. Based in St-Bruno de Montarville, this role offers an engaging mix of remote and on-site tasks. As part of Howden Canada Ventsim Solutions, you'll contribute to automation projects from conception to execution. Your responsibilities will include developing electrical schematics, troubleshooting systems, and supporting on-site installation. Your bilingual communication skills and technical knowledge will facilitate effective collaboration across various phases of automation projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control system schematics
• Update and correct CAD designs
• Select and ensure component functionality
• Assemble and test PLC-driven systems
• Conduct factory acceptance testing and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• D.E.C. in Electrical Engineering or Automation
• Familiarity with PLC programming
• Bilingual English and French
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM tools
• Previous experience in industrial automation preferred
