Senior Manager, Market Access & Government Affairs, Oncology, Quebec & Atlantic

Senior Manager position overseeing government affairs and market access strategy for oncology products across Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Responsible for building stakeholder relationships, securing reimbursement, monitoring policy developments, and advancing regional health policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute government affairs and market access strategies for Quebec and Atlantic Canada oncology markets
Secure and maintain optimal reimbursement for oncology products with provincial payers and cancer agencies
Build and manage relationships with government officials, policymakers, drug plan managers, and healthcare influencers
Monitor legislation and policy developments; identify barriers and develop timely policy recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated stakeholder engagement and evidence-based plans

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, science, public policy, health administration, or related field
10+ years experience in government affairs, market access, health policy, or public sector
Demonstrated success influencing legislation, regulation, or public reimbursement decisions
Deep knowledge of Canadian healthcare system, provincial drug plans, and reimbursement processes
Experience engaging senior stakeholders and payers in Quebec and Atlantic Canada
Understanding of health economics, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence principles
Exceptional written, verbal, and negotiation skills with strategic planning ability
