Lead Robotics Software Developer Montreal

Shape the future of automation with Mecademic as a Robotics Software Development Team Lead in Montreal. Your leadership will guide innovative solutions for high-level robotics applications and UI/HMI development.
In this full-time role, you will oversee the robotics software development team while collaborating with embedded software and product teams. Your expertise in software architecture, C/C++, and Python will drive feature design and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also maintain a cutting-edge approach by mentoring your team and organizing sprints effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and mentor the robotics software development team - Design software architecture for Linux-based systems - Program and integrate features using C/C++ and Python - Ensure compliance with robotics industry standards - Troubleshoot and update current systems based on user feedback
Requirements: - Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent - 2+ years in a technical lead or relevant role - Proficiency in C/C++ and Python - Experience in a Linux environment - Mandatory knowledge of Git and Atlassian tools
