YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the General Superintendent, you will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy;
• Collaborate closely with Hope Bay operations teams;
• Determine supply chain Key Performance Indicators in collaboration with Management
• Provide insight for process improvements and efficiencies
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner;
• Training and performance evaluation of direct reports;
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Procurement to strategize and determine best vendors and distributors;
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors;
• Supervise the Logistic Team at site (the department includes the warehouse, external laydown, site flights operations, and port facilities).

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or similar relevant field;
• 5+ years of experience as a Logistics General Supervisor;
• Knowledge of supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.);
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule

• Schedule: 21 days of work, followed by 21 days for transportation and rest; flights departing from Edmonton, AB and Yellowknife, NWT.
• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
