Part-Time Mother's Helper Needed (Infant or Toddler) - La Prairie
$22 per hourPart-time
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive Mother's Helper to provide occasional childcare support in our home in La Prairie. Care may be needed for either our 2-month-old infant or our 3-year-old child, depending on the day and our family's needs. A parent will often be present in the home during visits, and care will typically be for one child at a time. Responsibilities
- Caring for our 2-month-old infant, including feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and supervision
- Caring for our 3-year-old child through play, reading, and age-appropriate activities
- Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Providing attentive, quality care and supervision throughout each visit
- Flexible and occasional
- Typically 1–3 hours per visit
- Most often needed during: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Thursday daytime hours.
- Schedule arranged in advance
- Potential for ongoing part-time work (less than 20 hours per week) for the right candidate
- Experience caring for infants and/or young children
- Infant experience is strongly preferred
- Warm, patient, reliable, and punctual
- Non-smoker
- References preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification are an asset
- Must be able to travel to our home in La Prairie
- Live-out position
- No driver's license or vehicle required
- Your childcare experience

- Your expected hourly rate
- Whether you have experience with infants, toddlers, or both
