Part-time Operations Dispatch-French/Spanish an asset

Scandinavian Building Services has been a Canadian leader in retail and commercial cleaning for the last 60 years. Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton, Alberta in 1956 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. As we continue to grow we are looking to add an  Operations Dispatch (Part-time)  to the Scandi Family! 

Contract term is until July 19, 2027 and  This is a REMOTE position.

Hours/shifts are not guaranteed; Days of work and hours scheduled are dependent upon vacation and sick time coverage needs of the Operations Dispatch team. Shifts 5 hours in length or longer are subject to a 1-hour lunch (30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid). Flexibility to work days, evenings, overnights, and weekends is required.

Our ideal candidate will have superb multitasking skills along with the ability to make decisions independently. As our goal is to transmit accurate information in a timely manner, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 

Responsibilities

• Inputs and coordinates all incoming work orders, ensuring accuracy of information
• Navigates through various customer portals to manage end to end work order flow
• Acts as the first point of contact for client inquiries or escalations, responding quickly and accurately
• Maintains an excellent understanding of the client's requirements and ensures that the requirements are communicated and understood across the organization
• Oversee all communications in connection with large clients providing follow up and coordinating with all departments across the country
• Generates reports through Microsoft Excel, and customer portals
• Assist with internal employee troubleshooting, using manuals and documents available. IE: Programs, technology, system usage.
• Manages tight timelines and deadlines

• Any other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service and administrative experience
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in English (French and/or Spanish is an asset )
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Knowledge of Kissflow is an asset
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Our interview process:

• 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
• 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
• 45 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
