Oil And Gas Engineering Leader

Shape technical assurance across Tidewater’s oil and gas assets from Calgary, using engineering leadership and process safety expertise. This full-time position reports to the EVP, Midstream Operations.As Engineering Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary engineers supporting facility lifecycles, optimization, capital projects, and daily operating expense work. Your oversight spans natural gas processing, pipeline dynamics, compression, measurement, storage, upstream operations, and regulatory obligations. The position also connects engineering with commercial, executive, field operations, maintenance, and procurement teams.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee engineering standards for processing and measurement systemsGuide optimization, debottlenecking, capacity, and cost-saving projectsLead HAZOP and PHA technical safety assessmentsDevelop capital and operating budgets with business teamsManage EPCM relationships and engineering deliverablesRequirements:
Accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering disciplineActive APEGA Professional Engineer designation10 to 15+ years of progressive oil and gas experienceUnderstanding of custody transfer, tank storage, and upstream engineeringExperience with turnarounds, shutdown planning, or brownfield integrations preferredBring technical authority, regulatory judgment, and multidisciplinary leadership to Tidewater’s expanding midstream and infrastructure business.
