ELECTRICAL PROJECT COORDINATOR-Kitchener, ON

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Play a crucial role in assisting with estimating and overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion.
• While reporting to the project manager, your expertise will assist in the successful execution of projects within budget and schedule, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors.
• Review project specifications and blueprints to assist in accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
• Assist in the oversight of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and assist in the implementation of effective solutions to keep projects on track
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and report to the project manager any issues that may arise

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in electrical project Coordination or a similar role
• Experience working in a construction atmosphere.
• Ability to use/learn software software such as excel, word, AutoCAD, procore.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading
• Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
