Job Responsibility:
An Operational Manager in a mobile store plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the store. Here are the primary roles and responsibilities associated with this position:
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Store Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the store runs efficiently.
- Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely stock delivery.
2. Sales and Customer Service:
- Set sales targets and work with the team to achieve them.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues effectively.
- Ensure the store provides excellent customer service.
3. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitor store finances, including budgets, expenses, and revenue.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze sales data.
- Ensure cash handling and store transactions are accurate and secure.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
5. Marketing and Promotions:
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising strategies.
- Analyze the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
6. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure the store complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain store standards.
7. Technology and Systems Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of store technology and systems.
- Ensure the point-of-sale (POS) systems and other software are functioning correctly.
- Train staff on the use of store technology and systems.
8. Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present operational reports to upper management.
- Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep the store competitive.
