Work and Materials Planning Supervisor (Evening)

Main Responsibilities
- Track production work progress and develop recovery plans with the entire autonomous production team.
- Monitor major parts and components with Purchasing according to nominal flow and overconsumption.
- Serve as the central point for all short‑term planning.
- Monitor the performance of on‑site suppliers and partners and ensure proper coordination of them throughout normal operations.
- Advise the Production Manager on various aspects, including recovery plans and the prioritization of off‑station work across the assembly line to secure critical paths.
- Secure the production line by applying an entry barrier on major components if remaining work impacts normal operations.
- Secure deliveries by applying robust and structured coordination at the end of the line just before shipment.
- Ensure these follow‑ups on evening and weekend shifts in addition to the regular shift.
- Exhibit leadership while respecting the company's vision and values.
- Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines.
- Manage your team's performance using KPIs.
- Manage workload and individual employee performance.
- Ensure continuous improvement, including applying problem‑solving processes when relevant issues arise.
- Coach your team (9 employees) to develop their talent within the organization.
- Identify, document and standardize key processes leading to objective achievement.
- Ensure all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the operations plan.
Qualifications
- College or university diploma in a related field.
- At least two years of management experience in planning, manufacturing or aerospace sectors.
- Excellent team and project management skills.
- Strong leadership, judgment, flexibility and high autonomy.
- Sense of urgency, results‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
- Fluent in both French and English (bilingual).
