Purchasing Officer Drift Motors Location Brampton, ON Salary 38.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Full time Overtime required, early morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Financial benefits, other benefits Languages English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience Experience 1 to less than 7 months Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased Negotiate offers from suppliers Consult with suppliers Review quotations Determine contract terms and conditions Establish delivery schedules Monitor progress of delivery schedules Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization Estimate costs Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge MS Word MS Office Quick Books Electronic mail Database management MS Excel MS Outlook Specialization/experience (business sales and services) Negotiation Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Large caseload Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Team player Time management Flexibility Ability to multitask Benefits Financial benefits Commission Other benefits Free parking available Until: 2026-02-07
