Nous sommes à la recherche d'un représentant du service en chantier pour rejoindre notre équipe de service en chantier. Vous serez responsable de la coordination/planification et de l'exécution/supervision des activités liées à la réparation, à l'entretien et à l'installation de l'équipement de traitement minier. Ce poste est principalement situé à Sudbury, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Quebec, Prince George, Colombie-Britannique, mais nous sommes heureux de proposer des modalités de travail flexibles, y compris des options hybrides. Ce que vous ferez

• Avant d'arriver sur le chantier, étudier, planifier et préparer le travail du chantier en se basant sur l'étendue détaillée des travaux, les dessins, les procédures de l'entreprise, les instructions spécifiques, etc.
• Travailler en liaison avec les différentes équipes de support technique au sein de l'organisation Metso.
• Fournir des services consultatifs pendant l'installation, la vérification, le démarrage et la mise en service.
• Coordonner les activités sur le chantier avec le client et/ou le(s) sous-traitant(s) du client.
• Assister le client dans l'exécution des travaux afin de respecter le calendrier des travaux sur le chantier.
• Conseiller l'équipe de l'usine ou de l'entrepreneur pour qu'elle effectue en toute sécurité les travaux d'entretien, de réparation et d'amélioration.
• Déterminer les problèmes mécaniques et aider à prendre des mesures correctives et à effectuer des réparations.
• Recommande des procédures d'exploitation et d'entretien pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de l'équipement.
• Former le personnel du client aux méthodes appropriées d'entretien et de réparation de l'équipement.
• Rédiger des rapports du chantier à l'intention du client et des services internes, décrivant les problèmes rencontrés, les mesures prises et les recommandations futures.
• Le cas échéant, faire des recommandations pour améliorer les méthodes et/ou l'efficacité sur le chantier.
• Soumettre des rapport de dépenses conformément aux politiques et procédures de Metso en matière de voyages.
• Effectuer d'autres tâches liées au service en tant que membre du groupe de service de Metso, à la demande du directeur du service en chantier.
• Des déplacements (nationaux et internationaux) peuvent être nécessaires.
• Effectuer d'autres tâches diverses et/ou d'autres projets spéciaux selon les besoins.

Qui êtes-vous ?

• Certificat de mécanicien-monteur, mécanicien de chantier (millright) ou expérience équivalente.
• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des services en chantier
• Passeport canadien valide.
• Permis de conduire valide
• Capacité à diriger, planifier et organiser des missions de service en chantier.
• Motivé, orienté vers le client.
• Bonnes aptitudes à la communication, obligatoirement en anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit.
• De préférence, maîtrise du français, à l'oral et à l'écrit.
• Capacité à lire et à comprendre les dessins mécaniques en anglais et en système métrique.
• Connaissance des produits Metso.
• Compétences informatiques adéquates, capacité à travailler avec Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel et le courrier électronique Outlook.
• Volonté de se rendre sur les sites des chantiers y compris pour des périodes prolongées, jusqu'à 70 % du temps, en fonction des besoins des clients.
• Capable de s'acquitter de ses tâches sous pression, avec la possibilité de journées de travail de 16 heures.
• Volonté de répondre aux appels d'urgence du service en chantier 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7.
• Appliquer et respecter les politiques, les objectifs, les buts, la sécurité et les normes de qualité ISO 9001 de l'entreprise.

Introduction

We are seeking a Field Service Representative to join our Field Service team. You will be responsible for the coordination/planning and execution/supervision of activities related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of mining process equipment. Your role plays a crucial part in maintenance work as well as knowledge in mining equipment. In this position, you will report to the Field Service Manager.

This position is mainly located in Sudbury, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Quebec, Prince George, British Columbia but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. however, it involves up to 80% of travel to customer sites.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of Field service experts dedicated to the repair, maintenance, and installation of Metso’s mining process equipment.

Our team culture is all about solving and getting things done. The members in our team are in various locations and coordinate with Interfaces with Operations Team, Manager of Administration/Accounting/Field Service Support team.

What You’ll Do

Prior to arrival at a field assignment, study, plan, and prepare for field work based on the detailed scope of work, drawings, company procedures, specific instructions, etc.

• Work in liaison with the various technical support staff within Metso’s organization.
• Provide advisory services during installation, checkout, start-up, and commissioning.
• Coordinate field activity with the customer and/or the customer’s contractor(s).
• Assist the customer in executing the work to maintain the field schedule.
• Advise mill or contractor's crew in safely performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrade work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and assist with corrective action and repairs.
• Recommend operating and maintenance procedures to insure proper function of equipment.
• Train customer staff in proper methods to maintain and repair the equipment.
• Write field reports for submission to the customer and internal departments outlining problems encountered, action(s) taken, and future recommendations.
• When appropriate, make recommendations to improve field methods and/or efficiency.
• Submit expense statements according to Metso's travel policies and procedures.
• Carry out other service-related tasks as a member of Metso's Service Group as may be requested by the Field Service Manager.
• Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.

Who You Are

• Millwright certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service.
• Valid Canadian passport.
• Valid driver license
• Ability to lead, plan, and organize field service assignments.
• Motivated, customer oriented.
• Good communication skills, mandatory fluency in English, oral and written.
• Fluency preferred in French, oral and written.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings in the English and Metric System.
• Product knowledge of Metso's equipment.
• Adequate computer skills, capable of working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes e-mail.
• Willingness to travel to job sites including for extended periods, up to 70% of the time as may be required to meet customer’s needs.
• Capable of carrying out duties under pressure with the potential for 16-hour workdays.
• Willingness to respond to field service emergency calls on a 24-hour/7-day basis.

Pour les postes pouvant être exercés en Ontario, l’échelle salariale prévue est de $90,000.00 à $110,000.00 CAD par année. La rémunération réelle au sein de cette fourchette sera déterminée en fonction des compétences, de l’expérience et des qualifications liées au rôle. La rémunération pour les postes exercés à l’extérieur de l’Ontario sera déterminée conformément aux lois locales applicables et aux conditions du marché.

For positions that may be performed in Ontario, the expected salary range is $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and role-related qualifications. Compensation for roles performed outside Ontario will be determined in accordance with applicable local laws and market conditions.
