Senior Water Wastewater Civil Engineer

Design water and wastewater infrastructure in Markham with Black & Veatch, applying civil engineering expertise across complex project delivery.This Staff Civil Engineer role requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience. You will develop designs, studies, calculations, specifications, and engineering deliverables. The work includes project coordination, client interfaces, budgets, schedules, proposals, and mentorship for less experienced engineers.Key Responsibilities:
Lead portions of water and wastewater projects through construction and startupPrepare reports, technical memoranda, designs, specifications, and contract documentsAssist Engineering Managers with project schedules, budgets, and quality requirementsCoordinate internal and external project team members and engineering disciplinesProvide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to early career engineersRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related disciplineMinimum five years of related work experienceLicensed P.Eng or interest in obtaining registrationThorough understanding of water and wastewater designAbility to lead complex project portions with guidanceApply civil engineering, water design, and project leadership skills to infrastructure work with Black & Veatch in Markham.
