Data Engineer at BMO Financial Group

Elevate your career as a Data Engineer with BMO Financial Group. This role focuses on developing advanced data and AI products for data-driven insights and solutions. As a key player in the Data and AI Technology (DAT) Engineering team, you will partner with various business stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into innovative data products. Over the next few years, engage in planning, design, and implementation while strengthening your technical competency in ETL/ELT development and cloud services. Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data and AI products with stakeholders
Develop and test frameworks, automations, and reusable code
Conduct regression testing and identify process improvements
Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing
Collaborate in Agile delivery using JIRA

Requirements:

2 years of experience in data engineering or ETL/ELT
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Scala
Experience with AWS, Azure, and data warehousing
Knowledge of AI concepts and data analysis tools
Familiarity with structured and unstructured datasets
