Warehouse Operations Associate

Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Warehouse Operations team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of our operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Duties
- Execute order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
