Engineer-in-Training - Transportation

Join Stantec as a Transportation Engineer-in-Training in their Vancouver office. Collaborate on railway projects while you work towards your Professional Engineer license.
As an EIT at Stantec, you will become part of a team dedicated to delivering engineering solutions for rail and transit. This position involves supporting design, preparing technical documents, and ensuring project deadlines are met. You will gain valuable insights from seasoned engineers while working on projects that reshape transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform design and engineering tasks for railway systems
• Assist in drafting procurement and tender packages
• Develop test procedures for effective project implementation
• Ensure adherence to regulatory codes and standards
• Collaborate across disciplines on project objectives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Problem-solving and project management skills
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Previous railway exposure is an advantage
