Western Sales Truck & Tire is a new Heavy Truck repair shop located in Rosetown. We are looking for Journeyman and apprentice mechanics to join the team!
Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic Job The Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs efficiently while following safety and manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty trucks and equipmentPerform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake work, and inspections
Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
Use diagnostic tools and service equipment to identify problems and complete repairs
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs with the service team
Follow all workplace safety procedures and industry regulations Qualifications Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification (or equivalent experience) preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
