Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Role

Join a well-established companion animal hospital as a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian. This full-time position is perfect for those who are dedicated to providing top-tier medical and surgical care in a supportive environment. Our client seeks an experienced clinician who will enjoy collaborating with veterinarians and support staff. In this position, you will manage a diverse caseload of dogs and cats, while developing your clinical skills and mentoring junior veterinarians. Building strong client relationships through effective communication will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive medical consultations and treatments
- Conduct routine and advanced surgeries with confidence
- Oversee dental cases and preventative health services
- Mentor and guide junior veterinary staff
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care
- DVM degree and licensure in British Columbia
- At least three years of experience in small animal practice
- Proficient in both medical and surgical case management
- Commitment to mentorship and teamwork
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
