Senior Legal Counsel in Toronto
Aggreko
Drive legal strategy at Aggreko as an Associate General Counsel – Canada located in Toronto. Provide vital support in risk management and advance business goals through sound legal advice. In this role, you will provide robust legal support to Aggreko’s North American operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Work alongside the VP of Legal and business units to navigate complex commercial landscapes while effectively managing contractual obligations. Your expertise in commercial law will be invaluable in advising on legal risks and developing training for staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review commercial agreements with clients
- Advise leaders on legal and commercial risks
- Implement risk management policies effectively
- Collaborate with sales for contract alignment
- Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio
- Juris Doctor degree required
- Licensed attorney in practicing province
- 3-5 years of transactional law experience
- Strong analytical and legal negotiation skills
- French fluency in spoken and written
