Software Acquisition Origination Leader

Drive software acquisition origination globally with Perseus, combining hands-on sourcing, strategic relationships, and leadership across a Business Development team.As part of Constellation Software, Perseus seeks a player-coach for its M&A group. You will engage CEOs, founders, owners, corporate development executives, advisors, and investors. Success includes building meaningful relationships, securing signed LOIs, growing the team, achieving KPIs, and contributing to acquisitions.Key Responsibilities:
Source opportunities through outbound origination activitiesBuild strategic relationships across assigned software verticalsMaintain accurate lead allocation across portfolio verticalsQualify top-of-funnel opportunities for Portfolio ManagersDrive team growth and quarterly sourcing performanceRequirements:
Seven-plus years of software sales, Business Development, M&A, or financeAt least two years managing professionalsStrong interest in long-term software investment pipelinesExecutive presence and exceptional communication skillsEntrepreneurial or high-performance backgrounds may be consideredBring software investing interest, outbound origination, executive presence, and management experience to Perseus acquisitions.
