Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering and a passion for ensuring safety in various environments.
Seeking an experienced part-time fire alarm specialist to assist with commercial and residential fire alarm planning and & design. The successful applicant will work in partnership with the firm's primary engineer on a part-time/contract basis.
The ideal applicant has experience designing building mechanical, fire alarm systems, and S1001 reports, and be familiar with Fire Alarm Code and the Ontario Building Code.
The schedule is flexible, and can work around your other commitments. Most work will be done from home, with occasional in-person meetings to collaborate on projects.

Skills Required:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in blueprint reading
- Excellent problem-solving skills to detect potential fire hazards
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Certification in fire protection engineering
- Experience in conducting fire drills and training sessions
