Transportation Architecture Team Lead

Lead transportation architecture teams at HDR through staff development, project coordination, and strong organizational skills in a full-time role.

As Transportation Architecture Team Lead, you will oversee production operations and coordinate services across local teams, national transportation architecture studios, and engineering business groups. The position supports transportation projects such as subway stations, airports, transit facilities, and maintenance facilities. You will manage staffing, workloads, project planning, company policy, and multidisciplinary team development while working with Managing Principals, Project Managers, and studio leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production operations, staff development, morale, and marketing support
• Balance utilization and project workloads across transportation architecture studios
• Coordinate services with local teams and engineering business groups
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate project work
• Select, train, develop, and manage team staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum seven years of experience
• Minimum five years in similar transportation architecture projects
• Professional architecture license and willingness to stamp drawings
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
