Gas Bar Attendant
Responsibilities
- Operates cash register
- Greets customers entering convenience store
- Provides excellent customer service skills
- Maintains inventory
- Ensures that the convenience store gas bar is managed at all times
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well in teams
- Must be able to take payment from guests (whether it be cash, credit card or debit)
- Dusts shelves and maintains items on a daily basis
- Ensures that that gas pumps, convenience store, washrooms and outside are cleaned and maintained daily
- Labels items with proper prices and makes sure that any modifications are readily handled
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work shift work
Requirements
- Customer service skills experience
- Must be able to multitask
- Basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Manages workload independently and works well in teams
