Responsibilities

• Operates cash register
• Greets customers entering convenience store
• Provides excellent customer service skills
• Maintains inventory
• Ensures that the convenience store gas bar is managed at all times
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work well in teams
• Must be able to take payment from guests (whether it be cash, credit card or debit)
• Dusts shelves and maintains items on a daily basis
• Ensures that that gas pumps, convenience store, washrooms and outside are cleaned and maintained daily
• Labels items with proper prices and makes sure that any modifications are readily handled
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work shift work

• Must be able to multitask
• Basic math skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently
