Pharmacy Assistant

Crescent Heights Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our teamin Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering labelling and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count measure and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments monitor inventory levels rotate stock and support inventory auditsKeep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing faxing scanning and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy skilled in the use of Kroll with strong accuracy and efficiency in prescription data a solid understanding of Pharmacare/insurance billing processes and clinical services of a pharmacy assistant program is an verbal and written communication skills ability to thrive in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containersWillingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as neededSchedule: 40 hours per store operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 weekend availbility is & Benefits:Paid vacationComprehensive health and dental benefitsOpportunity for career growth and professional development supportWho We Are:Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canadas largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
