Scribd Flex supports flexible workstyles.This senior individual contributor shapes technical foundations, modeling standards, and development practices across Analytics Engineering. You will guide architecture, governance, quality, tooling, and developer experience while connecting investments to company priorities. The work supports Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Research, and other business teams.Key Responsibilities:
Shape Analytics Engineering foundations, standards, and development practicesBuild canonical datasets, shared metrics, and semantic layersDesign quality, observability, lineage, and evaluation systemsGuide technical decisions and communicate tradeoffs to senior leadersDevelop AI agents and analytical tools for company workflowsRequirements:
10+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related disciplinesDepth building governed canonical models and semantic layersAdvanced SQL and modern data stack production experienceExperience leading cross-functional initiatives through production adoptionExcellent communication with technical and business stakeholdersBring technical leadership, advanced SQL, and trusted data product expertise to Scribd, Inc.’s AI-native analytics foundation.
