Job Responsibility: Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for ACTING ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Ecole St. Anne Catholic School Whitecourt, Alberta Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a committed Catholic educational leader with a demonstrated ability to transform education, to provide exceptional leadership at Ecole St. Anne School . This school serves approximately 330 students and is supported by 16.5 teaching staff.Situated in Whitecourt, Alberta, a town of around 10,000 people and less than 2 hours west of Edmonton, Ecole St. Anne School is located in a growing, resource-based community offering abundant recreational and outdoor activities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and motivated individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills, willing to work collaboratively within the administration team and education setting where a commitment to play-based learning is a priority and everyone is encouraged to dream, play and imagine.Furthermore, the successful candidate will have a strong leadership capacity to guide the learning community through a transformation process, delivering dynamic and developmentally appropriate programming with a focus on the 20/20 Vision for Learning and the Living Waters Blueprint.Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate: - Commitment to Catholic education and doctrine- Prior successful leadership experience- Familiarity and experience with play-based learning and a systematic approach to change- Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment- Strong organizational skills- A Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or a commitment to further study in Educational LeadershipThis position is set to commence on August 19, 2024.
