Expert Material Program Manager in Defense

Become an integral part of Ultra Maritime as a Senior Material Program Manager, managing end-to-end material strategies critical to defense projects. Leverage your expertise in supply chain and planning to support naval missions. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all material components are delivered on time for complex programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategies, manage supplier relations, and conduct thorough cost analyses. Your leadership will be key to achieving program objectives while maintaining high performance standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of Material and Subcontract Management Plans
• Engage suppliers and identify long-lead requirements early
• Collaborate to translate requirements into actionable plans
• Analyze cost performance and identify variances
• Drive risk and opportunity management to enhance performance

Requirements:

• 6+ years in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry
• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and ERP systems
• Experience in developing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
