Hi! I'm a new single Dad with a brand-new preemie! (so experience with a preemie is a plus) The Live-In Nanny/Au Pair position may start late September/early October or even earlier depending on how my preemie is doing. Unfortunately due to time restraints Sponsorship from another country is not something on the table. My new family will be based in Toronto, Ontario, and is excited to welcome a full-time, live-in nanny to our home. In addition to caring for my little one, responsibilities will include housekeeping and meal prep, as well as one adult meal per workday. My ideal candidate will keep our home tidy and prepare nutritious meals to keep our family happy and healthy. Having CPR certification is essential for the safety and well-being of our newborn. Your ability to handle emergency situations confidently and calmly is very important to us. Being Queer-Friendly is a must! As is having a clean criminal record check (willing to do one if you do not have one). Long-term minded is important (as the child grows, fewer hours may be needed). Baby laundry, light housekeeping, bath and bedtime routines, minor errands (picking up dry cleaning, grocery) would be appreciated. Some schooling or certification in early childhood (would be nice to have), as well as a valid driver's licence if possible). I offer a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour for the right candidate, along with flexible hours. You would have a private bedroom and your own washroom, Internet and Wi-Fi, meals/grocery, and transportation allowance. You would be given two days off, like Friday and Saturday. Travel (in and out of the country) and outings may occur from time to time, during which you would be needed. For these, any cost would be covered. Speaking more than one language is a must!
