IT Lead for Eskay Creek Mine

Oversee IT operations at Eskay Creek Mine with Skeena Gold and Silver in northern British Columbia. This site-based role focuses on IT infrastructure management and project leadership.

As the Site IT Lead, you will report to the Director of Information Technology and ensure the uptime of critical systems and networks. The ideal candidate will drive IT initiatives, resolve technical issues, and support operational tasks while working closely with both in-house and external teams. A strong foundation in Microsoft technologies and hands-on experience in IT support is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage site IT infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, and connectivity • Provide on-site support and escalate technical issues • Monitor IT performance and implement continuous improvements • Lead technical implementation for various IT projects • Collaborate on IT governance and policy development

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field • Minimum three years of Microsoft 365 administration experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence • Certifications in Microsoft Azure are a plus
