VFX Artist Intermediate or Senior

Reports to: Lead VFX Artist

Permanent – Full-Time

What you’ll do

• Create real-time VFX for cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine;
• Build new and iterate on existing Niagara systems;
• Develop flipbooks and textures with EmberGen, Substance designer or similar;
• Use the Sequencer to integrate, trigger and control VFX in shots;
• Balance visual quality with performance.

What you’ll bring

• 3 to 5 years industry experience as a VFX Artist;
• Real-time VFX experience in Unreal Engine with a portfolio showing realistic and stylized work;
• Solid working knowledge of Niagara;
• Solid understanding of materials and shaders;
• Familiarity with EmberGen, Photoshop, Substance designer;
• A good sense of timing, shapes, color and scale;
• A collaborative and curious attitude and a good sense of organization.

Even better if you have

• Experience with Houdini (VATs, procedural geometry, solvers);
• Experience with cinematics or shot based work in a real-time pipeline;
• Experience with advanced Niagara Workflows (NDC, custom Niagara modules, Scratchpads etc.).
