Job Responsibility:
Required Skills
Minimum 4 to 5 years of working experience as a Scala developer.
Hands on development in Scala Spark and HDFS platform.
Must have implemented project on Scala and Python platform.
Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development BDD, Possess Big Data technology certification is preferred.
Excellent analytical trouble shooting capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and effective collaboration abilities.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture and understand software requirements.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Scala.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Scala.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers.
Optimize and refactor code to improve overall system performance.
Stay up to date with industry standard methodologies and new technologies in Scala and other related technologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC
