VP of Regulatory Compliance at AER

AER seeks a Vice President of Regulatory Compliance based in Calgary or Edmonton. This full-time role will oversee compliance, enforcement, and emergency management within Alberta's evolving energy sector. As VP, you will play a key role in integrating strategic initiatives with the Executive Leadership Team. You will be responsible for managing compliance across the energy lifecycle and leading a team of Directors. This position calls for a seasoned leader to shape strategic direction and implementation plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a geographically spread team
• Develop strategic plans aligning with enterprise goals
• Establish and monitor integrated performance metrics
• Coach Directors to enhance organizational leadership
• Foster a safety-first and innovative team culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences
• 15+ years of leadership in oil & gas sectors
• Familiarity with AER’s regulation processes
• Experience managing large teams and complex changes
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical leadership
