Principal Director of Business Insurance

Lead a talented team as Principal Director of Business Insurance at a historic Quebec brokerage in Montreal. Shape business strategies and enhance market position with your expertise. This leadership role oversees a dynamic team of 30 to 40 members, focusing on Commercial Insurance. You will develop business strategies, implement key insurance programs, and ensure compliance within the organization. By leveraging your technical insurance knowledge, you will also provide training for mid-market and large accounts to elevate service quality. Key Responsibilities:

Develop business growth strategies and market initiatives
Implement new insurance programs to elevate positioning
Ensure compliance with organizational policies
Train and coach teams handling mid-market and large accounts
Inspire the commercial insurance team to achieve targets

Requirements:

Extensive experience within insurance, particularly P&C
Strong leadership skills with a strategic vision
Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams
Exceptional knowledge of compliance policies
Track record in business development and training
