Nursing Unit Clerk (1027)

JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent provides administrative support to the nursing unit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma plus an administrative support program of over one year and up to two years in length or the equivalent;
• Medical terminology training or completion of training within set deadlines (training available in iTacit);
• One year of previous experience is required;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and of other software programs currently used within the Network;

• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
