Car Hauler

Job Responsibility:

Bytek Volkswagen is looking to hire a Car Hauler to join our team! As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of vehicles to and from our dealership. If that sounds like you, keep reading below!

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the efficient and secure transportation of vehicles to and from our dealership.
• Ensure the safe delivery of vehicles to customers and the timely relocation of inventory between dealerships.
• Basic manual labour as required
• Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles to and from the dealership using a car hauler or transport truck.
• Ensure that vehicles are protected during transportation to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations governing vehicle transportation.
• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the integrity of the car hauler and the vehicles being transported.
• Maintain clear and open communication with dealership staff regarding delivery schedules, vehicle condition, and any issues encountered during transportation.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of vehicle transportation, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents that may occur during transit.
• Keep the car hauler clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Manual transmission driving experience
• Understanding of safety regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• A pleasant manner when dealing with customers and fellow employees
• Strong independent work ethic
• A clean driving record

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
